MATE-Agadir President's Word
Dear TEFLers,

Since it was brought into being ten years ago or so, MATE Agadir has been one of the most active and “prolific” local branches all over Morocco. Our branch has played a significant role in raising thought provoking issues related to English language teaching in our country. Thanks to benevolent teachers and supervisors, we have organized many study days, MATE afternoons and regional conferences. No one can deny the fact that, in our daily teaching practices, we face various challenges and go through different experiences. Accordingly, our ultimate goal has always been to bring ELT professionals together so that they could exchange ideas and experiences and ponder over the present and the future of our profession.

By the same token, one of our colleagues and board member, Zakaria JAMAATI, thought it interesting to launch a platform that would allow the community of English teachers in the Souss region, all over Morocco and all Intersted people in ELT in general,to communicate at their best convenience; hence the birth of MATE Agadir Forum (MAF).This forum is a warm call to all teachers to think in a loud voice by posting their questions, replies and comments in a way that would improve our classroom practices and consolidate communication among teachers. This initiative will not honour the objectives it was set for unless you enrich the forum with your contributions.

We are just a few clicks away from each other. So, start and keep posting.

Hassane Fathi,
MATE Agadir president.
