CALL FOR PAPERS

MATE-Agadir, in collaboration with the Souss Massa Daraa Regional Academy for Education & Training and in coordination with the Regional English Language Inspectorate in Agadir, organizes: “The 2nd Middle School Study day” at the Centre Pédagogique Regional (CPR), In Inezgane, on March 4th, 2009. Theme:

"Varying Classroom Teaching Practices: A Key to Professional Development"

The seminar will focus on the following areas:

The four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Teaching materials development.
Using drama and songs in the classroom.
Assessment

The study day will feature the following:

Twenty-minute presentations.
One hour workshops.
Roundtable

Participants

50 middle school teachers.
12 CPR teacher trainees.

MATE-Agadir is calling for presentations and workshops tackling one of the areas suggested above. Abstracts must be submitted by February 25th, 2009 to: mateagadir@yahoo.com
